Just a quick post of the latest LO that I made using a kit from The Scrap Room. This is a pic of my hubby and I at my Dad's B-day party, which just happens to be on Valentine's Day. The sketch is by Julie Bonner and the kit is Pink Paislee Cupid. I loved this kit and it was very easy to work with! Which is a little strange since I usually hate "themed" stuff. I added some Prima lollipop flowers and A&M initial cards along with some Thickers Alphas. Those are my latest must have product! The stamp in the upper right hand corner is a Basic Grey Bitty Stamp that says Be Mine...it was too perfect not to use on this LO! A Martha Stewart punch easily added a great border to the page. I must say, it is my favorite LO at the moment!

Happy President's Day!

I love Monday Holidays! My Mom and I often go out shopping together on these holidays and today was no exception. Our favorite thing to do is find new crafty stores, as long as they are not too far away. Today we found another scrapbook store, The Inspiration Station, thanks to a suggestion from a friend. It was a little over an hour away and in another state, but hey, my Mom and I love to explore! I found lots of new stuff to work with and a lot of stuff for my wedding album, which I want to start on.

For The Scrap Room Blog Challenge this week we had to create a LO with a scalloped edge/border in it. This was my take on the challenge, using a sketch I found on Julie Bonner's Blog. This is our cat Sasha taking a nap next to me while I play on the laptop.

Isn't she cute? This is part of the February shipment from The Scrap Room and is a line from American Crafts. I thought I would have a hard time scrapping with it, but it was the first kit from the FOTM that I chose to work with. Hopefully, I'll be able to work with them all by the end of the month!
