The cold has settled in here in Western MA and I am not liking it! I am a summer girl and I always will be! However, that only means I have been getting a lot more scrappin' done these days! I have been trying to keep up with the challenges at the Scrap Room and Sketch Inspirations. I have also been doing a lot of things for the A-Z Year that are not necessarily new but I appreciate them more when I associate them with the current letter! We are on C now, so I will have to think of some things to do....

Here is a LO I finished just tonight for Sketch 108 at Sketch Inspirations:
A pic of my hubby before we got married. I thought the pic went so well with the paper from the Basic Grey Indian Summer kit from the Scrap Room!
Here is another LO I created for the Jan 1-15 Got Sketches at The Scrap Room:
Some cute pics of my nieces with my parents at the girls' joint bday party in October.
And finally, I have a LO I made to remind me of the goals I have for 2010. This was for The Scrap Room's Week 1 Blog Challenge. I used an older kit for this LO and I loved how the square stickers were the perfect size for my tiles!

Well, off to do more scrapping and think of the letter C! Have a great weekend!

Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hello! Hopefully tomorrow I will be posting the winner of the December Raffle in my Etsy shop, http://www.playswithpaper828.etsy.com but for now I will leave you with some of my latest creations.

I made this first card for my Mother's B-day, which is tomorrow. I kind of had a brain stump until I started playing with a stamp and ended up creating the background image by stamping multiple images. I then stamped the same image in a darker color and raised it up, adding ribbon behind it. To add some bling, I added some rhinestones to the flowers. I love the way it came out!

Next I have a card/tag set I made for a friend's baby shower that is next week. I really fell in love with this giraffe stamp and just had to use it! I embossed the background paper with my Epic Six and then inked the raised part to give it definition. I also stitched with floss around the edges to give it a more "cutesy" look. I really like the way these two came out!

Hope everyone had a great New Years!!
